How Infringements Are Detected

DMCA Bot uses a multi-layered detection approach to find unauthorised copies of your content with high accuracy.

1. Keyword-Based Search

Your product's keywords are used to query the Google Custom Search API and Bing Search API. Results are collected and ranked by relevance.

2. URL Filtering

Results that match your original URLs (your legitimate pages) are excluded. Only third-party URLs are considered for further analysis.

3. AI-Assisted Analysis

An AI model reviews each potential infringement to assess:

• Does the page appear to be distributing your content without permission?
• Is this a legitimate review, aggregator, or reseller site?
• What is the severity of the infringement?

This step significantly reduces false positives.

4. Duplicate Detection

DMCA Bot tracks all previously detected infringements to avoid submitting duplicate takedowns for the same URL.

5. Screenshot Capture

A screenshot of each confirmed infringement page is captured and stored as evidence, which can be included in takedown notices or used in legal proceedings.
